Our Approach to Addiction Treatment

Our therapists will provide regular mental state assessments and a programme of therapy, which will include a range of group therapy and individual therapies that will be developed around the client’s requirements.

This excellent medical care, under the supervision of leading addiction specialist and consultant psychiatrist Dr. Mike McPhillips, is complemented by the unique therapeutic benefits of a stay at The Causeway Retreat. The tranquil island location, with its excellent range of indoor and outdoor leisure activities, provides a relaxing environment in which to rehabilitate from drug or alcohol dependency.

After an initial residential treatment at The Causeway Retreat Addiction Rehab, we provide 12 months of free aftercare post discharge from the island, to support clients during their return to normal life and to minimise the risk of a return to drug and alcohol abuse.

The Causeway Retreat is approved by almost all major insurance companies, such as BUPA, Allianz, Standard Life, Aetna and AXA PPP
